What We Do

Our solutions create a data-driven foundation, through which your business is optimized in a transparent and documentable way. What you need to do to improve your operation is our main focus – and this requires changing the way you work. Our approach is built around a core of sophisticated mathematical models, which we apply to model your reality. When you are satisfied with our modeling of your reality, we start analyzing how you can improve. In this phase, we are building the bridge between the operational employees and the complex analytics – by a thorough understanding of both. The solutions include changes to your planning, improving your performance evaluation, strengthening your system capabilities, and making you work differently. The solutions are typically a combination of consultancy services, which make you think differently, and enhanced system capability, which enable you to work differently.

This is our approach:

We enable you to change the way you operate

We use generic and dynamic analytical tools that include all important properties of the operational reality of your business

We use advanced mathematical optimization techniques to identify options for improving

We apply large data sets containing operational data to eliminate non-factual discussions

We make you think differently by respectfully challenging the way you are currently operating

We know how changes impact the operational environment - using the ability to model changes before implementing them

We provide hands-on recommendations – directly implementable

Our services

Consultancy Services

Our consultancy services covers all operational areas of the airport and are centered on the elements of value creation described above. After visiting your airport and understanding your challenges, we define a project in cooperation with you. We scope the project and deliver a fixed price proposal for our services. The typical project commences with a data collection and validation phase, followed by an analytical phase, where we are analyzing your data to calibrate our models. We share our initial results mirror-imaging your current operation. With this in place, we host one or more workshops, where we in collaboration are identifying options for improvement. We quantify the effects of the improvements and outline how the improvements are implemented. The last step of the typical project is outlining a set of decisions to be taken in order to start the improvement work.

On top of our consultancy services, we offer a software solution, which can help you implement and sustain the required changes.

We offer services aimed at making the visit to a hospital a better experience for the patient. We do this by improving the planning of tasks, assuring the ability to follow and update plans on the day, and create a fact-based performance evaluation. We ascertain that the various departments involved in handling of patients are basing their decisions on the same set of numbers.

An abundance of data is collected and stored at hospitals today. This creates a valuable base for analyzing the process flows for the patient, as well as for the specific department. This covers data down to the single scan of a sample, as it moves through the process required to establish a diagnose or the flow of patients between various departments. Typically, we analyze at least 12 month’s worth of data to account for seasonality – often several million rows of data. We crunch the data and during this process, we identify patterns, uncover options for process improvement, and define KPIs on which to base a performance evaluation while closely cooperating with relevant stakeholders in the process.

Our experience is within planning of operations and analysis of data. This enables us to be a neutral third party, when it comes to academic discussions on patient welfare. Our clients see this as an advantage, as we are able to present the material in an objective and unbiased manner.

While basing our findings on data, our prime focus is on the recipients of data and the change required to improve the operation. Communication of our results is done in close and careful cooperation with clinic management. Implementation is done gradually to ensure that the changes are successfully integrated in the daily processes.
