The Better Airport® software solution to increase passenger growth potential in the current footprint by optimizing airport operations.

Copenhagen, Denmark - Copenhagen Optimization, provider of the world’s leading connected operations platform for airport operators, today announced a partnership with Sydney Airport (SYD) as their software provider for planning and optimization of the use of check-in counters, aircraft stands and gates. Copenhagen Optimization is excited to partner with Sydney Airport to deliver a software solution which drives optimization of the use of airport infrastructure.

The Better Airport® software solution will assist Sydney Airport in its operational decision making to enhance the customer journey at key touchpoints. By combining passenger flows with the allocation of check-in counters, optimized counter opening plans secure the best possible use of the infrastructure. For the stand and gate allocation, striking the right balance between busing, towing, and pier-service delivers a higher number of aircraft turns per stand per day increasing efficiency.
