Copenhagen Optimization (CopOpt) was founded in 2014 by Kasper Hounsgaard and Anders Dohn after spending more than 13 years amongst them in airport operations at Copenhagen Airport. CopOpt is a joint software and consultancy company specializing in improving airport operations. We are a highly skilled team of airport professionals, pragmatic analysts, and cutting-edge software developers. We have practical experience from some of the world’s biggest airports, combined with background and experience within mathematical optimization and machine learning.
All of this is encapsulated in our software solution BETTER AIRPORT® which enables airport operators to plan and execute their entire airport operation – before day of operation and in real-time and from curb to gate and back. Better Airport is a cloud-based solution that uses airport data and advanced mathematical algorithms to generate accurate forecasts and operational plans through an easy-to-use and incredibly intuitive user interface. It is currently deployed and live in operations in more than 20 airports globally, including JFK Terminal 4, London Heathrow, and Singapore Changi. Better Airport consists of a suite of products covering the entire airport journey and serves as a platform for communication, assuring that all users are working off the same plan, thereby enabling collaborative decision making.
We also put our profound understanding of airport operations into play in our consultancy services, improving airport efficiency and passenger experience through enhanced planning, execution, and evaluation.
Would you like to help ensure that millions of passengers get a better experience when traveling through some of the world’s busiest airports? And that patients are getting a better hospital experience? Are you motivated by challenges, where sophisticated data analysis and advanced optimization algorithms are the keystones to delivering high quality results to the clients? And would you like to be part of a start-up with high ambitions of making a difference? Then we would like to meet you!
